The six nations compose a partnership corresponding to climate change

At 12th ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF 12) which is holding in Laos, Vientiane from 28th to 29th July, foreign ministers of six nations, USA, Australia, Korea, Japan, China and India assembled to constitute a partnership and officially announce the Vision Statement on cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

The forum may not be an alternative manner to approach Kyoto Protocol but it is a process of involving 6 countries to reinforce the reduction of greenhouse gas. There will be discussions and sharing experiences and ideas on the technological development and energy strategy development on climate change. The forum will focus on theses contributions of six countries to stress its sustainable development and cooperation between these countries.

This partnership included all the 6 countries that have produced high rate of greenhouse gas. The Vision Statement implicates the issues of energy efficiency, Carbon storage, use of Methane and modern technology as well as various co-operational agreements in relation to climate change. In addition, the partnership mainly secures the Kyoto Protocol correspond to climate change.
